How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Page Group are working with a leading SME business who operate in the manufacturing & supply chain industry, who are now looking to appoint a new Head of Customer Service at their offices in Sheffield

    Description

    Strategically & Operationally lead Customer Service, Order Processing, Internal Sales & Account Management
    Create, implement and drive the CX Strategy across a national B2B customer base
    Conduct in depth reviews of existing process and procedures to highlight opportunities to drive positive change, leading to better outcomes for customers, improved operational efficiency, reduced lead times and increase profit
    Work closely with production planning to manage order book to help create a timely distribution plan
    Manage relations with 3rd part logistics providers, managing commercial contracts and ensuring SLA's are met
    Take ownership of any escalated customer issues with a view to resolve in a timely manor
    Work closely with sales function to manage customer onbaording and provide support where required
    Identify opportunities to implement new technologies, systems and AI that improve customer satisfaction and reduce manual workloadProfile

    Leadership at a similar level
    Experience within a manufacturing, supply chain, production or logistics environment
    Ability to motivate and inspire a team
    Experience implementing new systems and technologiesJob Offer

    The role of Head of Customer Service will join an SME Manufacturign organisation at their Offices in Sheffield.

    The role offers a salary of £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience

    Working Hours are 8-30 to 17-00 Monday to Friday, fully on site in Sheffield
