Solar Installer / Roofer

An excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to gain experience in the renewable energy sector. My client is looking for a Solar Installer / Roofer to work on residential projects in the South East. We are open to experience in related work environments as full training will be provided. Candidates must have experience of working with tools installing mechanical or electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Install solar panel (PV) systems on domestic residential properties

Carry out preparation roofing areas, mount system installation, and panel fittings

Make sure all roofing work is completed to a high standard, maintain weather proofing and integrity of structures

Work with experienced electricians to support AC / DC installation

Adhere to H&S regulations and industry best practice

Maintain a clean and tidy work setting

Deliver outstanding workmanship and meet customer expectations on every project

Requirements

Previous experience in roofing is highly desirable

Excellent practical skills & understanding of construction or roofing practices

Ability to work at heights in outdoor environments

Full UK driving license
