Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a nurturing and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Manchester area from September 2026 through to February 2027.

This inclusive and community-focused school is committed to providing a safe, engaging and inspiring learning environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential. With a strong emphasis on early learning, phonics and personal development, the school is looking for a committed KS1 practitioner who can build strong foundations for young learners during this important stage of their education.

The Successful Candidate Will:

Deliver engaging and creative Year 1 lessons across the KS1 curriculum
Support pupil's early development in reading, writing and maths, with a strong focus on phonics
Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
Use assessment effectively to identify next steps and support pupil progress
Work collaboratively with staff, parents and support teams to promote positive outcomesTo Be Considered You Must:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1 or Early Years
Demonstrate strong behaviour management and a nurturing teaching style
Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning and pupil development
