The Service Advisor will be responsible for managing service appointments, advising customers on repairs and maintenance, and ensuring a smooth flow of communication between the workshop and clients.
Duties
* Greet customers warmly and establish rapport to understand their vehicle concerns
* Provide detailed explanations of required repairs and maintenance services
* Upsell additional services or products that benefit the customer’s vehicle care
* Prepare accurate estimates and process cash handling transactions efficiently
* Schedule service appointments and follow up on pending work to ensure timely completion
* Liaise with the workshop team to communicate customer needs and vehicle status updates
* Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, services performed, and billing information
* Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction through professional communication and service excellence
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry or similar environment
* Mechanical knowledge or background is highly desirable to effectively communicate technical information
* Strong skills in upselling and identifying opportunities for additional services or products
* Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
* Organised with good time management skills to manage multiple appointments efficiently
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer satisfaction
