Experienced Machine Operative required for a laminate manufacturing company in Trafford Park.
Our client, a well-established laminate manufacturing business, is seeking a skilled Machine Operative to join their production team. This is a temp to permanent role with competitive pay and early finish on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities – Machine Operative

Set up, operate, and maintain machinery including:
*
Edgebanders
*
Post forming machines
*
Spindle moulders
*
Beam saws
*
Monitor production quality and output
*
Read and work from technical drawings/specifications
*
Ensure materials are cut and finished to high-quality standards
*
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
*
Report machinery faults or maintenance requirements
Candidate Requirements
*
Minimum 12 months’ experience operating edgebanders, post forming machinery, spindle moulders, beam saws, or similar equipment
*
Experience in laminate, woodworking, furniture manufacturing, or similar industry preferred
*
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
*
Good understanding of health & safety procedures
*
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Hours & Pay
*
Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
*
Friday: 07:00 – 14:45 (early finish)
*
Pay: £14.00 – £16.50 per hour (depending on experience)
*
Temp to permanent role with potential for career progression
