How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Global Senior Product Manager - Engineered Products
North West London (NW2) | Hybrid Working | Up to £85,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Progressive GE and a Global Engineering & Manufacturing Company (part of a FTSE Group), specialising in Engineered Mechanical Solutions for Safety-Critical Industries are looking to recruit a Global Senior Product Manager on a staff basis, owing to significant growth over the last 3 years.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a significant global product line within a safety-critical, engineered products environment, with a continued focus on innovation and long-term product development.

This Global Senior Product Manager role would also suit individuals currently working in Product Development or NPD-focused roles who are looking to move into a broader product ownership position.

This Global Senior Product Manager Role sits at a strategic level, with responsibility for shaping product direction, driving innovation and influencing the long-term development of a key product portfolio across global markets.
Working within a global, matrixed organisation, you will operate at the intersection of engineering, NPD and commercial teams, acting as the global owner of product strategy and development.

There is a strong emphasis on early-stage product definition, including ideation, validation and requirements capture, rather than being purely focused on downstream execution.

Key responsibilities of Global Senior Product Manager include:

Full ownership of the product lifecycle from ideation through to launch and ongoing optimisation
Defining the global product roadmap and innovation pipeline
Identifying product opportunities through customer insight, market analysis and internal innovation
Translating ideas into clear product requirements (MRD / PRD)
Leading early-stage development, including concept definition and prioritisation
Working closely with engineering, R&D and manufacturing teams to bring products to market
Building business cases and supporting commercial decision-making
Driving product differentiation and maintaining competitiveness in the market
Influencing stakeholders across a global, matrix environment

Requirements for Global Senior Product Manager Role:

Degree in Engineering or Engineering-related discipline
Experience as a Senior Product Manager or Product Manager within industrial, engineering or manufacturing environments
Strong experience working with physical, engineered products (mechanical or electro-mechanical)
Proven experience in early-stage product definition, including ideation, validation and requirements capture
Ability to clearly demonstrate how you have personally shaped product ideas, not just executed within a process
Experience working closely with engineering and NPD teams
    Balanced technical and commercial understanding
Experience operating across global or multi-region markets

This Global Senior Product Manager role would also suit individuals currently working in Product Development or NPD-focused roles who are looking to move into a broader product ownership position.
    What's on offer:

Salary up to £85,000 + bonus + benefits
Hybrid working (North West London base)
    Global exposure with c.30-40% travel
Ownership of a high-value product line
Strong level of influence over product direction and innovation

Location - North West London (NW2), commutable from North London, West London, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas

Apply now if you're looking for a role where you can take real ownership and play a key part in shaping the future of engineered products on a global scale.
