How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    * High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality

    * Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage deadlines

    * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and legal case management systems

    * The ability to work independently, while also contributing as part of a collaborative legal team

Experience with court filing systems, document management platforms, disclosure documents, bundles, witness statements, pleadings and court forms would be highly advantageous.

    Role & Responsibilities

As a Civil Paralegal, you will provide key support to solicitors across civil law matters, helping to manage case files, prepare legal documentation, liaise with clients and third parties, and support the wider litigation process. Your responsibilities will include:

    * Assisting solicitors with civil litigation matters

    * Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, correspondence and court forms

    * Conducting legal research and summarising findings clearly and accurately

    * Managing and maintaining case files, records and document databases

    * Liaising with clients, courts, barristers, experts and other parties

    * Preparing bundles and evidence for court hearings, mediations and trials

    * Monitoring deadlines and helping to ensure compliance with court rules and procedures

    * Reviewing, organising and managing disclosure documents

    * Supporting case preparation and assisting with settlement-related documentation

    * Attending meetings, hearings or court proceedings where required

    * Handling sensitive information appropriately and maintaining strict confidentiality

    Why Join?

This is a strong opportunity to join a long-established and respected law firm with an excellent reputation across Windsor and the surrounding area.

You will be part of a professional and supportive legal team, with the chance to develop your civil litigation experience while working on varied matters across private and commercial client work.
