About the Role A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hounslow is seeking a highly organised and diligent Safeguarding Administrator to support the school’s safeguarding and pastoral team.
This is a crucial role within the school, ensuring that safeguarding processes are followed effectively and that all concerns are recorded, monitored, and actioned appropriately using CPOMS.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date safeguarding records using CPOMS
Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and wider safeguarding team
Log, monitor, and escalate safeguarding concerns in line with school policy
Liaise with staff, external agencies, and parents where appropriate
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with safeguarding and data protection regulations
Assist with safeguarding audits, reports, and documentationThe Ideal Candidate Will:
Have proven experience handling safeguarding cases within a school setting
Be confident using CPOMS or a similar safeguarding system
Have a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and statutory guidance (e.g. Keeping Children Safe in Education)
Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Be able to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
Have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaborativelyWhat the School Offers:
