I'm currently working with a growing, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to support their expanding Infrastructure / Property team.

The Role
You'll take a lead role in the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects, covering drainage, highways and development infrastructure schemes from planning through to construction.
Key responsibilities:
Lead design of drainage (SuDS, surface & foul), levels, earthworks and external works
Deliver highways design (S38 / S278) and infrastructure layouts
Manage projects through feasibility, planning, detailed design and construction stages
Produce and review technical drawings using AutoCAD & Civil 3D
Work with MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage for modelling and strategy design
Liaise with local authorities, LLFAs, water companies and the Environment Agency
Support and mentor Graduate Engineers and Junior Engineers
Coordinate with internal teams across transport planning, structural and environmental disciplines
Requirements
Experience within a UK consultancy delivering development infrastructure / civil engineering projects
Strong technical background in drainage design, SuDS, highways and external works
Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage
Experience with planning applications, Section Agreements (S104, S106, S38, S278)
Confident managing projects and client relationships
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Working towards or already achieved ICE Chartership (IEng/CEng) desirable
