About the Role:
anzuk Education is recruiting for a highly organised and proactive Headteacher’s PA to join an Ofsted Outstanding school in Islington. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting ASAP. School experience is essential.
We are seeking an experienced PA with a strong background supporting senior leaders within UK schools. The successful candidate will be professional, discreet, and confident managing a busy workload in a fast-paced school environment. Candidates must hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one at registration.
We will accept candidates with a maximum of a one week notice period.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide dedicated PA support to the Headteacher, including diary and inbox management
* Arrange and coordinate internal and external meetings
* Prepare agendas, reports, and professional correspondence
* Take accurate minutes and track follow-up actions
* Act as a first point of contact for staff, governors, parents, and external stakeholders
* Liaise with School Governors, ensuring they are kept informed of meetings and events
* Support HR, compliance, admissions, and wider office administration
* Assist with the organisation of whole-school events, including open evenings and school functions
* Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through anzuk
* Available ASAP for a full-time role (maximum two-week notice period)
* Minimum of six months’ experience working in a UK school as a PA / EA / senior administrator
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Experience using Microsoft Office and school systems (Arbor/SIMS desirable)
* Ability to remain calm, professional, and adaptable under pressure
