SEN Teaching Assistant – Join PK Education This September
PK Education is recruiting caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils within specialist education settings from September. We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available, making this an ideal role for experienced support staff looking for flexibility or their next rewarding challenge.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities
Build positive relationships that encourage confidence, independence, and progress
Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Use effective behaviour management strategies to create a safe and positive learning environment
Work closely with teachers and other professionals to meet individual learning needs
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience supporting children or young people with Autism, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, and challenging behaviour
A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
