Machine Operator

Do you have experience in machine operation?

We are currently recruiting a Machine Operator for a well-established organisation in Biggleswade. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for a reliable and hardworking individual seeking long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities

* Safely lift, move, and store goods

* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

* Operate machinery including a Herbert Capstan Lathe, band saw, and other laboratory equipment

* Produce laboratory test pieces from technical drawings

* Operate forklift trucks

What We’re Looking For

* A positive, proactive team player with a strong work ethic

* Forklift experience preferred (Reach or Counterbalance desirable – training provided)

* A strong commitment to safety and following procedures

Benefits

* Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00, Friday: 07:00 – 15:30 (37 hours per week)

* Competitive salary of Up to £35,000 per annum
