About the Role
Orchard Professional Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced Fitters to join a leading manufacturer of modular buildings in the Wakefield area.
This is a permanent day shift role offering long-term stability and overtime opportunities. You will be responsible for fitting and assembling modular building components to a high standard within a busy production environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out fitting and assembly work on modular buildings
* Install fixtures, fittings, and internal components
* Read and work from technical drawings and job specifications
* Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
* Ensure all work is completed to company quality standards
* Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
* Previous fitting or assembly experience is essential
* Experience within modular construction or manufacturing is advantageous
* Must have your own hand tools
* Ability to read technical drawings and instructions
* Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
* Reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
