About the Role
Orchard Professional Solutions are currently recruiting 4 Sub Assembly Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team in the Wakefield area.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience using power tools and timber framing to work in a fast-paced production environment, assembling high-quality components to specification.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble timber frame components and sub-assemblies
* Safely operate hand and power tools
* Read and follow technical drawings and production instructions
* Ensure products are built to quality standards
* Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Support other areas of production when required
Requirements
* Previous experience using hand and power tools is essential
* Timber framing or construction experience preferred
* Good practical skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable with a strong work ethic
* Manufacturing or assembly experience is advantageous
