How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Maintain and enforce all health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures.

    * Monitor construction progress against programme and implement corrective actions where required.

    * Conduct regular site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.

    * Liaise with clients, consultants, local authorities, and internal project teams.

    * Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and resource allocation.

    * Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.

    * Assist with project planning, sequencing, and risk management.

    * Drive a positive site culture focused on teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement.

    About You

    We are looking for a practical and knowledgeable Site Manager who understands construction from the ground up and can confidently lead site teams.

    Essential Requirements:

    * Proven experience managing commercial new build construction projects.

    * Strong trade background (e.g., carpentry, bricklaying, groundworks, joinery, steelwork, or similar).

    * Previous experience in a Site Manager role within the construction industry.

    * Excellent knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and site operations.

    * Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

    * Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades effectively.

    * Sound understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices.

    Required Qualifications:

    * SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

    * CSCS Manager Card

    * First Aid at Work

    * Relevant construction qualification (NVQ Level 6, HNC/HND, or equivalent) desirable

    What We Offer

    * Competitive salary package

    * Car Allowance

    * Pension scheme

    * Annual leave entitlement

    * Ongoing training and professional development

    * Opportunities for career progression within a growing business

    * Supportive and collaborative working environment

    Why Join?

    This role is ideal for a construction professional who has built their career through the trades and understands the realities of site delivery. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality commercial developments while working with an experienced team that values practical expertise, leadership, and professional growth
