Exciting Opportunity for a Junior Structural Design Engineer
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Structural Design Engineer to join a growing and ambitious Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy in Bristol.
This role is ideal for an engineer with around 1-2 years of consultancy experience who is looking to take the next step in their career. The Role
As a Junior Structural Design Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers on a diverse range of structural projects across residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments.
You’ll gain exposure to all stages of project delivery, helping to develop your technical expertise while taking on increasing responsibility as your experience grows. Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the design and analysis of structural engineering projects
* Produce engineering calculations, drawings and technical reports
* Support senior engineers with project delivery and coordination
* Attend site visits and project meetings
* Contribute to the development of practical and efficient design solutions
* Continue developing your skills and experience as a Structural Design Engineer

About You
To be considered for this Junior Structural Design Engineer position, you should have:
* A degree in Structural Engineering or a related engineering discipline
* Approximately 1-2 years of experience within a structural engineering consultancy
* Experience producing structural calculations and design work
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Good communication and interpersonal abilities
* A desire to work towards Chartered Engineer status
* A proactive approach and willingness to continue learning
Location
