We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Yard Operatives to join our team in Tranent, East Lothian. Opportunities are available on both day and night shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a busy yard environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
* Moving steel and aluminium materials throughout the workshop and yard
* Preparing materials for galvanising and dispatch
* Checking incoming deliveries and associated paperwork
* Inspecting galvanised materials for quality and accuracy
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
* Adhering to all company health and safety procedures
Requirements
* Good organisational and time-management skills
* Ability to work effectively to deadlines
* Positive attitude and strong team-working ethic
* Forklift licence preferred but not essential
* Previous yard or industrial experience is advantageous
