How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    If you're a Package Manager with a strong drylining background and a proven track record delivering large-scale partitioning and ceiling packages, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a major internal fit-out package on a landmark hotel development in South Wales.

    We're looking for an experienced professional who can demonstrate longevity with previous employers and a history of successfully delivering complex drylining packages on large-scale projects. This high-profile scheme forms part of a wider city-centre regeneration project valued at approximately £250m and requires a confident and organised individual capable of managing specialist subcontractors, maintaining programme certainty, and driving quality throughout delivery.

    The role offers a highly competitive PAYE day rate of up to £550 per day for the successful candidate, structured to provide strong take-home earnings while benefiting from PAYE engagement.

    About the role of Package Manager

    This Package Manager position is focused on the delivery of extensive metal stud partitioning and MF ceiling packages throughout the construction of a new-build hotel development.

    You will take full responsibility for the management, coordination, and successful delivery of these packages, ensuring works are completed safely, to programme, and to the required quality standards. Working alongside project leadership and specialist subcontractors, you will play a key role in maintaining progress across multiple floors and fit-out zones.

    Responsibilities for Package Manager

    * Manage the delivery of large-scale metal stud partition and MF ceiling packages
    * Coordinate drylining subcontractors, labour, materials, and logistics requirements
    * Drive programme performance and ensure key project milestones are achieved
    * Monitor quality standards and oversee inspections throughout installation phases
    * Ensure all works are delivered safely and in accordance with project requirements
    * Manage package interfaces with M&E, joinery, finishes, and other internal fit-out trades
    * Resolve technical, operational, and programme-related challenges as they arise
    * Maintain accurate reporting and progress records throughout delivery
    * Support planning and sequencing activities to maximise productivity across the package

    Requirements for Package Manager

    * SMSTS
    * CSCS Card
    * First Aid at Work
    * Strong drylining background with previous experience managing metal stud partitioning and MF ceiling packages
    * Experience delivering internal fit-out packages on hotel, residential, commercial, mixed-use, healthcare, or major public sector projects
    * Previous experience working on projects valued in excess of £50m preferred
    * Proven ability to manage specialist subcontractors and coordinate multiple work fronts simultaneously
    * Evidence of longevity and stability throughout your career history
    * Strong understanding of programme management, quality assurance, and health & safety compliance
    * Excellent communication and leadership skills

    About the company

    You'll be joining a leading main contractor with an established reputation for delivering complex, high-value projects across the UK. The business is known for its collaborative approach, strong project pipeline, and commitment to delivering high-quality schemes safely and efficiently.
