Role – Site Manager
Location – Balmuildy Primary School (G64 3AJ)
Salary/Rate – £34 per hour (Umbrella PAYE)
Duration – 8 Weeks, Immediate start avaliable
Overview:
VGC are currently looking for a site manager for a school build in Bishopbriggs (G64 3AJ). Candidate should be experienced in internal finishes, likely duration 8 weeks with immediate start for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and managing weekly work plans aligned with the project programme.
Coordinating and sequencing partitions, floor finishes, ceilings, and taping/decorating works to ensure efficient delivery and integration with M&E installations.
Monitoring and enforcing high standards of health, safety, quality, and productivity across all internal finishes activities.
Working closely with the Building Services Manager to coordinate construction and M&E requirements.
Conducting weekly SHE inspections and daily quality inspections.
Chairing fortnightly subcontractor progress meetings and driving programme performance.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, Ian Craw, on progress, risks, and key project milestones.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing internal fit-out packages, excellent planning and coordination skills, and a proactive approach to quality, safety, and programme delivery.
Required Qualifications: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
