How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Our vision is to inspire and enable organisations globally to reach their true potential by making governance, compliance, and inspection a positive and valuable experience. Through sector-leading expertise and a partnership-led approach, we help our clients achieve success while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Our Food & Packaging Division specialises in GFSI-recognised certification schemes, including BRCGS and other food safety certification services, supporting businesses throughout the food and packaging supply chain.

    The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Technical Co-ordinator to join our Food & Packaging team.

In this role, you will provide essential administrative and co-ordination support to our technical function, ensuring certification activities are managed efficiently and within required timescales. Acting as a key point of contact between auditors, clients, and internal teams, you will help maintain high standards of service and support the smooth delivery of certification processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration, co-ordination, or customer service experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Co-ordinate technical activities to ensure reports are processed within scheme owner-defined timescales.
    • Support certification decision-making by ensuring audit reports, corrective actions, and supporting documentation are complete and available for review.
    • Liaise with auditors and clients regarding the status of completed audits and certification activities.
    • Respond to and direct client and auditor enquiries to the appropriate team members.
    • Upload completed reports and certificates to scheme owner portals.
    • Distribute newly published standards, requirements, and technical documents to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
    • Conduct initial reviews of audit reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and correct classification of non-conformances.
    • Support technical review processes, non-conformance closures, recalls, and appeals through communication with clients and auditors.
    • Maintain the BRCGS Educate portal.
    • Co-ordinate and administer internal and external training courses.

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Complete application reviews in line with scheme requirements.
    • Conduct internal audits.
    • Support technical improvement projects and assist with the implementation of changes arising from accreditation bodies, scheme owners, or business requirements.

    About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

    • Experience in an administration, co-ordination, or customer service position.
    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy when handling documentation.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with clients, auditors, and colleagues.
    • A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

    Why Join Amtivo?

At Amtivo, you'll become part of a supportive and collaborative team where your contribution is valued. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards in food safety certification while providing opportunities for professional development and growth.

You'll work in a dynamic environment where your organisational skills and attention to detail will directly contribute to delivering outstanding service to our clients.
