How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About Us

At Balineum, we are passionate about beautiful bathrooms - so much so that we named ourselves after the Latin word for bathhouse. We offer a carefully curated collection of bathroom and kitchen finishes and furnishings, working with British and European suppliers known for exceptional quality.

Over the past decade, tiles have grown to represent more than 70% of Balineum’s business and have become the hallmark of our brand. Our clients include leading interior designers and architects from around the world. We predominantly collaborate on high-end residential projects and are regularly featured in leading interior design publications.

We're a small, close-knit team based between our studio in Hampstead and a new warehouse space in N4 1TD opening in Autumn 2026, where this role will be based. Initial training will take place at our NW3 studio ahead of the move.

    Role Overview

This is a practical, varied role at the heart of our operations. You'll support the Production Manager and Head of Operations, coordinating inbound goods and the quality control process, and handling the fulfilment of customer orders.

You are switched-on, careful and genuinely invested in doing things properly. This is not a high-volume pick-and-pack environment.

This is a genuinely exciting moment to join. Our new warehouse facility at Florentia Village, N4 opens in early Autumn 2026, and you'll play a hands-on role helping us with the move.

    Required Skills and Experience

    ·      Practically minded, and comfortable handling and moving heavy products safely as part of a hands-on warehouse role - happy to get stuck in and figure things out

    ·      Organised and methodical

    ·      Careful and detail-oriented - you take pride in doing things properly

    ·      Self-starter who doesn't need to be chased to get things done

    ·      Confident communicator - on the floor and over email or WhatsApp

    ·      Experience in warehouse operations, logistics or fulfilment is preferred, though attitude and careful attention to detail matter just as much. This is not a high-volume pick-and-pack role

    ·      A genuine interest in interiors, design or materials is a plus - we're a design-led brand and everyone who joins us cares about what we make

    ·      Quick to pick up internal systems - familiarity with CRM software is helpful, BrightPearl experience a bonus but not essential

    Day to Day Responsibilities

    ·      Receiving, unpacking and carefully laying out inbound goods - tiles, mirrors, accessories - ready for quality inspection

    ·      Documenting all goods in, taking photographs and filing them to our cloud storage system

    ·      Assisting with checking tile orders against purchase orders - confirming quantities, colours and designs

    ·      Packing and wrapping boxed orders and pallet shipments to a high standard – training will be given

    ·      Identifying and logging any product or packaging issues

    ·      Liaising with shippers and the sales team on delivery issues

    ·      Keeping packaging supplies stocked

    ·      Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse space daily

    Employment Details

    ·      Full-time, permanent position

    ·      Projected start date: August 2026

    ·      Location: New warehouse space at Florentia Village, N4 1TD / Onboarding at our studio in NW3 5RN.

    ·      Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience (from £30,000 + potential profit-sharing bonus)

    ·      Holiday: 33 days annual leave including public holidays, plus the office closure between Christmas and New Year

    ·      This role is managed day-to-day by the Production Manager and reports to the Head of Operations.

    ·      To apply, please email your CV and short cover letter to recruitment@balineum.co.uk by Friday 3rd July 2026. In your cover letter, please tell us: why you're interested in working at Balineum, what appeals to you about this role, and a bit about any relevant experience or practical skills you'd bring.
