How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time, on-site Office Administrator role based in Derby. The Office Administrator will oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and maintaining office systems and supplies. Responsibilities include managing office equipment, providing administrative assistance to various departments, serving as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries, and supporting customer service functions. The role also involves organizing and maintaining documentation, scheduling meetings, and ensuring timely communication across teams.

    Qualifications
    • Proficiency in Administrative Assistance and Office Administration tasks, including organizing information and managing office workflows.
    • Competence in maintaining and troubleshooting Office Equipment and using software tools to support daily operations.
    • Exceptional Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with internal teams and external partners effectively.
    • Commitment to excellent Customer Service, ensuring the needs of clients and colleagues are met with efficiency and professionalism.
    • Additional skills in time management, multitasking, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
    • Previous experience in office management or an administrative role is an advantage.
    • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and other business software, is beneficial.
    • Educational qualifications in Business Administration or a related field are preferred.
