How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Job Title: Graduate Customer Support Specialist

    Salary: £30,000 basic salary

Location: Hybrid (2days per week in London office)

    About

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's leading software businesses, whose technology is used by thousands of professionals across the country every day.

Our clients platform helps customers streamline complex processes, improve efficiency and deliver a better experience for their own clients. By automating time-consuming tasks and simplifying day-to-day operations, the business plays a key role in helping organisations work smarter and more effectively.

Backed by significant investment and experiencing continued growth, they combine the stability and resources of an established market leader with the innovation, pace and ambition of a modern technology company. For graduates and early-career professionals, it's a rare opportunity to join a business where you'll gain exposure to cutting-edge technology, work alongside experienced teams and benefit from clear progression opportunities across multiple areas of the organisation.

    About the Role

What makes this role different is that it's not a traditional customer support position. Our client have invested heavily in AI and technology, so you'll be working with AI-powered tools, helping customers solve problems, improving processes and learning how a modern technology business operates from the inside.

    About You

You don't need previous technical support experience. We're looking for intelligent, curious individuals who enjoy problem-solving, learning new technology and helping people. The role will involve speaking with customers over the phone and full training will be provided. However the majority of customer interactions are handled via email and live chat, so strong written communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to explain solutions clearly are equally important.

    What's On Offer?

    • £30,000 basic salary
    • Hybrid working (2 days per week in the London office)
    • Structured onboarding and ongoing mentorship
    • Exposure to AI, SaaS and modern technology platforms
    • Clear career progression pathways (Customer Success, Team Leadership, Product Operations, Engineering etc.)
    • Excellent benefits package including private healthcare, enhanced parental leave and matched pension contributions
