Our client is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Financial Controller to lead a talented finance team and play a key role in driving business performance, financial control, and sustainable growth. What you'll be doing:
✔ Leading and developing a finance team of four
✔ Owning month-end, year-end, management reporting, and audit processes
✔ Delivering insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
✔ Strengthening financial controls, governance, and compliance across UK and US operations
✔ Driving process improvements, automation, and ERP enhancements
✔ Managing cash flow, AP, AR, consolidations, tax, and statutory reporting activities
What we're looking for:
🔹 ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
🔹 4–5 years' post-qualified experience
🔹 Strong technical accounting and financial control expertise
🔹 Experience leading and developing financeteams
🔹 A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent commercial awareness
🔹 Experience in retail, luxury, founder-led, or PE-backed businesses would be highly advantageous
