How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Our client, a highly regarded London-based design consultancy, is looking to appoint a Mid-Level Interior Designer with a strong background in luxury hospitality projects. Renowned for delivering sophisticated, contemporary interiors with a distinctive European aesthetic, the studio works across both hospitality and high-end residential sectors.

As part of the design team, you will contribute to the development of creative concepts through mood boards, visual references, and preliminary 2D and 3D design studies. You will play a key role in taking projects from concept through to completion, producing comprehensive design and technical documentation using AutoCAD and SketchUp

The role involves preparing detailed drawing packages, including plans, elevations, bespoke joinery details, and schedules covering finishes, sanitaryware, and ironmongery. You will also assist during the construction phase by reviewing contractor submissions and responding to RFIs, helping to ensure design intent is maintained throughout delivery.

Working closely with consultants and external stakeholders, you will support project coordination from inception to completion. You will also undertake research into suppliers, pricing, and lead times to inform specification and design decisions. A strong understanding of hospitality design principles, operational requirements, and relevant regulations is essential.

Candidates should demonstrate proven experience delivering high-end hospitality interiors, including hotels, restaurants and bars. Previous experience within a respected luxury design studio is highly desirable. Expertise in bespoke joinery, interior architectural detailing, and custom-made furniture and lighting is essential, along with a strong network or knowledge of specialist fabricators and suppliers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and detail-oriented designer looking to contribute to exceptional hospitality environments within a collaborative and design-led studio.

The position offers one day per week working from home.
