How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About the Organisation

TBOS Healthcare Solutions Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, national not-for-profit organisation providing mental health, substance use and social support services across England. Our client supports thousands of people every year - helping individuals facing challenges around mental health, alcohol, drugs, gambling and related issues to live safer, healthier and more independent lives. With a strong reputation across the sector and a genuine commitment to recovery, this is an organisation where you can make a real and lasting difference in your community.

    About the Role

We are seeking a Recovery Coordinator to join a recovery-focused service supporting adults aged 18 and over in the Leeds area. This is a rewarding opportunity to coordinate and deliver person-centred support, helping people regain independence, confidence and stability during difficult periods in their lives. Working as part of a multidisciplinary, rota-based team, you will hold a caseload, develop and review personalised recovery plans, and support individuals to work towards their personal goals.

    What You’ll Do

    * Coordinate and deliver person-centred support for adults accessing the service.

    * Hold and manage a caseload, acting as a key worker for individuals on your roster.

    * Develop, implement and review personalised support and recovery plans.

    * Help people maintain their independence and develop practical life skills.

    * Encourage and support access to education, employment, leisure and community opportunities.

    * Assist with developing domestic, budgeting and tenancy-management skills.

    * Build positive and professional relationships with people using the service.

    * Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partner agencies.

    * Participate in a rota system, including evenings, weekends and on-call duties where required.

    * Contribute to a supportive, respectful and empowering environment for recovery.

    What We Are Looking For

    * Experience in a health, social care or support setting (recovery, mental health or substance use desirable).

    * Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with people from all backgrounds.

    * The ability to manage a caseload and coordinate support effectively.

    * Someone who thrives under pressure and can remain calm and supportive in challenging situations.

    * A positive and recovery-focused mindset.

    * A flexible team player who can also work independently when needed.

    * An understanding of mental health and/or substance use issues; lived experience is welcomed, although full training will be provided.

    * Commitment to working within a rota system, including flexibility for shift work and on-call duties.

    What We Offer

We value the people who make a difference every day. Alongside meaningful work, you’ll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package:

    * 27 days’ annual leave, rising to 32 after 1 year (plus bank holidays)

    * Pension scheme with 4.5% employer contribution, matched up to 6.5%

    * Life assurance (3× annual salary)

    * Enhanced sick pay and family-friendly pay

    * Birthday leave and the option to buy up to 5 extra days’ annual leave

    * Professional fee reimbursement for relevant qualifications

    * 24/7 online GP access and Employee Assistance Programme

    * Recognition and long service awards

    * £500 Recommend a Friend bonus

    * Cycle to Work scheme and Credit Union membership

    * Discounts via Blue Light Card, charity discounts and other retail and leisure schemes

    * Free will writing service and wellbeing initiatives throughout the year

    Inclusion & Accessibility

Our client is proud to be an equal opportunities employer and a Disability Confident employer, welcoming applications from all backgrounds and communities — especially those with lived experience of the issues the service supports. Reasonable adjustments can be made to enable fair participation at every stage of the process. If you need any adjustments or support to apply, please let TBOS Healthcare Solutions Ltd know.
