We’re partnering with a leading student accommodation operator to appoint a Customer Service Advisor for one of their modern, purpose-built sites in Leicester.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the heart of a residential community, delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for residents on a daily basis.
You’ll be a visible presence across the building, supporting residents, visitors, and operational teams while helping to ensure the site runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
The Role
- Deliver a professional and welcoming front-of-house reception service for residents, visitors, contractors, and partners
- Actively engage with residents throughout the building, providing support and ensuring a positive customer experience
- Handle day-to-day enquiries, resolving issues efficiently and escalating where required
- Assist with resident viewings and promote the accommodation's services and facilities
- Manage parcel deliveries, reception administration, and general correspondence
- Complete incident reports, welfare checks, room inspections, and other operational tasks
- Respond appropriately to alarm activations and support emergency procedures when required
- Identify hazards, report maintenance issues, and contribute to a safe living environment
- Support health & safety, compliance checks, and operational procedures across the site
- Maintain high presentation standards throughout reception, communal areas, lounges, lift lobbies, and hallways
- Work closely with site management, maintenance teams, and operational colleagues to deliver an exceptional resident experience
What We're Looking For:
Essential Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, hospitality, residential, retail, or front-of-house environment
- A genuine passion for customer service and delivering outstanding resident experiences
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident, professional, and approachable manner
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of tasks
- Good IT literacy and attention to detail
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to support across all aspects of site operations
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents, colleagues, and external stakeholders
Desirable
- Experience within student accommodation, residential property, hospitality, or serviced living environments
- Knowledge of health & safety procedures and incident reporting
- Experience carrying out inspections, welfare checks, or operational compliance tasks
