How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role: Quality Technologist


    Location: London (2-3 days in office)

    We are excited to be partnering with a global food manufacturer, with operations in over 35 markets, who are looking for a Quality Technologist to join their team in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with amazing growth opportunities, who are incredibly supportive in career progression and self development.


    This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Quality function, playing a key role in ensuring product safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. You’ll work cross-functionally to investigate issues, support audits, and drive continuous improvement across a complex supply chain environment.


    Key responsibilities:

    • Lead investigations into quality issues and non-conformances across internal, supplier, and customer contexts
    • Conduct root cause analysis (e.g. 5 Whys, FMEA, Fishbone) and implement corrective and preventative actions
    • Support customer complaint handling and drive timely resolution
    • Identify trends and provide reporting on quality performance
    • Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits (e.g. BRC, customer audits)
    • Ensure documentation and compliance with food safety, regulatory, and customer standards
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality
    • Assist in supplier approval, performance monitoring, and quality assurance of co-manufacturers
    • Collaborate with commercial, product, and supply chain teams to ensure quality expectations are met


    In order to be successful:

    • Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes and safety standards
    • Experience managing investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPAs
    • Experience in food and beverage manufacturing environments
    • Strong understanding of BRC, HACCP, GMP standards
    • Experience with supplier quality and audit processes
    • Full permanent right to work in the UK
