We are currently partnering with a leading international development finance institution seeking a Finance Lawyer to join its London-based legal team.
This is a rare opportunity to work on complex cross-border financing transactions while supporting investments that drive economic growth and development across emerging markets.
The Opportunity
You will advise on a broad range of debt investments and financing structures, including:
- Corporate lending
- Trade and supply chain finance
- Risk participations
- Structured and innovative financing arrangements
- Sustainable and impact-focused investments
Working closely with investment professionals, you will support transactions from origination through to execution and portfolio management, providing commercially focused legal advice on high-profile international matters.
Candidate Profile
- England & Wales or New York qualified lawyer
- 4+ years' PQE
- Strong banking and finance experience gained at a leading international law firm and/or financial institution
- Experience advising on cross-border lending and debt transactions
- Familiarity with LMA documentation
- Commercial, pragmatic and solutions-oriented approach
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience within development finance, trade finance, structured finance, sustainable finance or debt capital markets would be advantageous but is not essential.
