Smart Repairer / Prepper
Rolling Stock Vehicle Prepper & Smart paint repair - We currently have a fantastic opportunity for experienced Sprayers either from body shop or Accident repair background or similar to join a contract until the end of the year in Manchester working on Trains.
Working in a train depot you will be required to prep carriages and carry out smart repairs to surfaces ready for Decal application
This role has an attractive rate of £25.00 Per Hour Ltd OUTSIDE IR35, and will be conducted Monday to Wednesday on an Afternoon shift (Apply online only)) with a Thursday or Friday 9 hour shift (Alternating) totalling a 45 hour week.
Job Details:
•Preparation work : Perform high-quality prep work on Carriage paintwork to remove surface defects ready for Decal application
• Smart paint repair: Apply touch ups to paint work in and around the area of work to a quality standard using spraying techniques
Job Experience:
• Experience of working in a vehicle Smart repair or similar environment
• Rolling Stock experience is an advantage
A working knowledge of H&S responsibilities
You must also be able to pass a Medical, Drug & Alcohol screening.
