How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Cogent Staffing are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Bradford BD4. We are looking for experienced FLT Drivers (Counterbalance) to join them on a temporary to permanent basis.

    Shifts & salary:

    * Monday to Friday

    * 14:00-23:00

    * £12.71 per hour

    * Weekly pay

    * Temporary ongoing opportunity

    * Possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate

    * Starting ASAP

    Key responsibilities:

    * Operate Counterbalance FLT

    * Load and unload vehicles to site

    * Move stock in and around the warehouse

    * Locate and label stock within the production/warehouse environments

    * Pick orders using FLT and manually

    * Stack products

    * Reverse through the warehouse on FLT

    This role is not 100% FLT, you will be required to work within the warehouse as an operative as well as operating the FLT.

    Experience:

    * Must hold an in-date Counterbalance licence

    * Worked within a warehouse setting operating a Counterbalance Forklift

    * Has a good eye for detail and can read and write in English

    * Reliable, punctual and hardworking

    * Looking for a long term, temporary to permanent opportunity

    * Can commute to Bradford BD4
