Cnc Operator

CNC Operator – Night Shift: GPW is working with a well-established manufacturing client who is looking to recruit CNC Operators to join their growing CNC department. Role Overview
* Select and operate CNC machinery using approved job sheet programmes
* Check, verify, and adjust programmes where required using WoodWop software
* Set up tooling and enter tool dimensions into the machine database
* Ensure products are manufactured to the required quality and tolerance standards
* Carry out safety checks and complete production documentation
* Report machine faults, defects, and production issues promptly
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and production efficiency
Requirements
* Previous experience operating CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment
* Working knowledge of WoodWop software
* Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good understanding of health and safety procedures
* Reliable with good communication and organisational skills
Desirable
* Experience with 5S or lean manufacturing initiatives
* Continuous improvement mindset
* Basic machine fault-finding and preventative maintenance experience
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
Shift & Pay Night Shift
* Monday – Thursday
* 20:00 – 06:00
* 36 paid hours per week
Pay Rates
* £20.13 per hour
* Annual salary equivalent: £37,683.36
