How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Title - Art Teacher

    Salary - £165.00 - £225.00 per day

    Humly is working closely with a well-established and inclusive secondary academy located in Waterlooville, Hampshire, serving students aged 11–16.     The Role:

    Do you have a talent for inspiring creativity and helping young people develop confidence through artistic expression? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Art Teacher to join a supportive secondary school environment and engage students through a variety of artistic techniques, media, and creative projects.

    Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4.

    *

    Mark and assess student progress in line with curriculum expectations.

    *

    Encourage creativity, self-expression, and the development of practical artistic skills.

    *

    Support students in exploring a range of artistic styles, techniques, and materials.

    *

    Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Art and Creative Arts department.

    *

    Contribute to displays, exhibitions, and wider school enrichment activities.

    *

    Uphold school values and create a positive learning environment where all students can thrive.

    The Ideal Candidate will have:

    *

    QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – ECTs are welcome to apply.

    *

    Experience teaching Art at secondary level.

    *

    At least 6 months' UK teaching experience.

    *

    Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

    *

    A creative, enthusiastic, and approachable teaching style.

    *

    Excellent communication and organisational skills.

    *

    A passion for developing students' artistic abilities and creative confidence.
