How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Year 6 Booster Teacher - Part Time (3 Days Per Week)- Rednal

Aspire People are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Year 6 Booster Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Rednal. This is a part-time position starting in September 2026 and continuing until July 2027, working 3 days per week.

The school is flexible regarding which three days are worked, making this an excellent opportunity for teachers seeking a better work-life balance while continuing to make a meaningful impact on pupil progress.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Year 6 team to provide targeted intervention and booster support for pupils, helping them build confidence, close learning gaps, and prepare effectively for SATs and the transition to secondary school.

    Key Responsibilities:
    * Deliver targeted booster sessions to Year 6 pupils in small groups and, where appropriate, on a 1:1 basis.
    * Support pupils in developing confidence and competence in reading, writing, and mathematics.
    * Work closely with class teachers to identify learning gaps and plan appropriate interventions.
    * Assist in preparing pupils for Key Stage 2 SATs through focused teaching and revision activities.
    * Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
    * Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.
    * Contribute to raising attainment and supporting positive outcomes for all learners.

    The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
    * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
    * Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
    * A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and SATs requirements.
    * Experience delivering interventions or booster sessions that accelerate pupil progress.
    * Excellent communication and organisational skills.
    * The ability to motivate and inspire pupils who may lack confidence in their learning.
    * A positive and collaborative approach to working as part of a wider school team.

This role would be ideal for an experienced teacher, intervention specialist, or someone looking for a flexible teaching opportunity while continuing to support pupils at a crucial stage of their primary education.

If you are passionate about helping pupils achieve their potential and preparing them for success in Year 6 and beyond, we would love to hear from you.
