Our client, a well-established manufacturing business, is currently seeking Production Operatives to join their night shift team. This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
Working within a busy production environment, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and preparing products while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Assembling and testing products using a range of electrical and mechanical equipment.
* General soldering and brazing duties.
* Preparation and testing of components and assemblies.
* Basic hand tool work and fabrication.
* Operation of a variety of production equipment and machinery.
* Adopting a hands-on approach to support production targets and maximise efficiency.
* Always following production procedures and quality standards.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Essential Requirements
* Good manual dexterity with the ability to assemble small components.
* Experience using basic hand tools.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Good numeracy skills.
* Well organised with the ability to use initiative.
* Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
Desirable Experience
* Previous experience as a Production Operative.
* Experience within manufacturing, engineering, assembly, or production environments.
* Experience working with small-batch assembly or precision products.
