How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Modify and maintain robotic programmes, including ABB RAPID or similar control platforms
    * Monitor weld pool behaviour, bead formation and process stability during production
    * Conduct inspections and support quality verification activities
    * Investigate process deviations and implement corrective actions
    * Capture and analyse manufacturing data to drive continuous improvement
    * Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams on process development activities
    * Maintain accurate process documentation and traceability records
    About You
    We're looking for candidates with a strong technical background in automated manufacturing, robotics or welding technologies who are comfortable working in a precision-driven environment.
    Essential Experience
    * Experience operating robotic, CNC, PLC-controlled or automated manufacturing equipment
    * Understanding of welding processes and welding metallurgy
    * Experience with robotic programming, ideally ABB RAPID or similar systems
    * Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
    * Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
    * Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
    Desirable Experience
    * Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM)
    * Robotic welding systems
    * Metal additive manufacturing technologies
    * Aerospace, defence or highly regulated manufacturing environments
    * AS9100 or ISO9001 quality standards
    * Process monitoring, data acquisition or digital manufacturing systems
    What's On Offer?
    * Competitive salary and benefits package
    * Industry-leading 4-day working week
    * Flexible working arrangements
    * Opportunity to work with cutting-edge manufacturing technology
    * Career development within a highly innovative engineering environment
    * Exposure to next-generation additive manufacturing programmes
    This position would suit candidates from robotic welding, additive manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, automation, aerospace, defence or high-precision engineering backgrounds looking to further develop their expertise in emerging manufacturing technologies.
