Masterclass are seeking an exceptional Head of School (Primary) to join an alternative provision primary school at a pivotal time. This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role, working in close partnership with the Head Teacher and Primary staff to transform outcomes for young people at a crucial stage in their education.
As Interim Head of School, you will provide strong, compassionate and strategic leadership, ensuring that every pupil receives the support, care and high-quality education they deserve.
About the Role
As Head of School, you will:
* Lead the day-to-day operations of the Primary School
* Contribute strategically to the development of the wider organisation
* Inspire, support and develop a dedicated staff team
* Deliver a creative, engaging and inclusive curriculum
* Ensure every young person is supported to achieve and succeed
* Work in partnership with the SENCO to ensure identified needs are met effectively
You will play a vital role in shaping a nurturing and ambitious environment where pupils feel safe, understood and empowered to thrive.
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
* Is passionate about supporting young people with barriers to learning
* Has experience within SEMH, SEND or alternative provision settings
* Can lead and develop a creative and engaging curriculum
* Thrives in a challenging yet highly rewarding environment
* Values collaboration and teamwork
* Brings energy, resilience and strong leadership to their work.

Must have:
* Ability to work well independently and as a team
* Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
* A DBS on the Updates Service or willing to obtain one
* Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
