Requirements for this role include:
A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years or Childcare
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
A caring, patient, and nurturing approach
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
The ability to plan engaging educational activities that support learning and development
A genuine passion for working with children
Your Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn, develop, and flourish.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing high-quality care and supervision for children
Planning and delivering engaging learning experiences
Supporting children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development
Promoting children's wellbeing, safety, and welfare at all times
Following safeguarding policies and procedures
Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Encouraging children's confidence, curiosity, and independence
Maintaining exceptional standards of hygiene, health, and safety throughout the setting
