We're looking for a hands-on Senior Quality Inspector to join a specialist manufacturing environment producing inflatable rescue and life-saving equipment. This is more than inspection - it's a key role ensuring products meet the highest safety, regulatory, and customer standards.

What you'll be doing
Leading inspection activities across goods-in, in-process, and final product release
Carrying out functional and pressure testing on inflatable safety equipment
Ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, SOPs, and quality standards
Managing non-conformances, including root cause support and corrective actions
Raising and closing supplier RMAs and liaising with suppliers on quality issues
Maintaining accurate inspection records, reports, and traceability documentationLeadership responsibilities
Supervising and supporting a team of Quality Inspectors
Allocating workload and setting priorities
Providing training, coaching, and performance oversight
Acting as a first point of escalation for quality issuesWhat we're looking for
Experience working within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Hands-on experience with measurement tools (Verniers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
Knowledge of root cause analysis and continuous improvement
Experience inspecting components against POs and specifications
Ideally, exposure to pressure or flow testing systems
