We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to join a medium sized multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy based in the centre of London.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the mechanical discipline on assigned projects from concept through to completion.
Provide technical leadership, innovation, and expertise in building services design.
Guide and oversee the development of complex mechanical systems and engineering solutions.
Lead, mentor, and support engineers, graduates, and apprentices, fostering professional growth and development.
Ensure projects are appropriately resourced and delivered to programme, budget, and quality expectations.
Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining effective financial and resource control.
Liaise directly with clients and key stakeholders to understand requirements and develop practical design solutions.
Maintain clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate across disciplines to identify and resolve multidisciplinary engineering challenges.
Support the development and implementation of technical standards, best practices, and quality procedures.
Monitor and apply document control and design management procedures.
Identify and develop new project opportunities and potential revenue streams.
Ensure all project work is delivered in accordance with company processes, procedures, and industry standards.
Work towards or maintain Chartered Engineer status through a relevant professional institution (CIBSE, IET, IMechE, or equivalent).About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Proven experience within mechanical building services engineering.
Strong technical design and project delivery capabilities.
Experience leading projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Commercial awareness and project financial management experience.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
A commitment to mentoring and developing junior team members.
Working towards, or already holding, Chartered Engineer status.Benefits
