How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Your Role:

    As Quality Engineer, you'll assure the quality of products throughout their product lifecycle by supporting the product lifecycle quality assurance, through the complete manufacturing process, and taking responsibility for ensuring that processes and procedures are in place and adhered to in relation to product quality.

    The Quality Engineer position plays a vital role in the support of operational throughput, ensuring the required deliverables are completed on time and to the customer's specification and quality standard. Ultimately, you'll be responsible for ensuring that products and services delivered have gone through the appropriate manufacturing / repair / validation process, prior to final handover to the customer.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Contribute towards interface/interaction with Customers and cross functionally at Safran
    Act as product Release signatory
    Work closely with the Operational Manager as well as other quality teams to define quality objectives in line with company objectives
    Ensure that measuring of the quality of products and services are delivered, with respect to the specified objectives
    Ensure that the appropriate action plans are implemented and carried out and measure their effectiveness
    Conduct audits and OJT in accordance with regulations, company procedures and customer requirements
    Support and maintain the implementation validation process
    Undertake QRQC (8D) as required to support timely operational throughput as required

    What You'll Bring

    HNC / HND or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline
    Strong understanding and/or experience in utilising QA Tools such as APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, and FMEA
    Sound Engineering / Quality background with experience of Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment (Aerospace/Defence/Automotive preferred)
    Experienced Quality Engineer within with Internal Design Teams)
    In depth understanding of regulatory, international and quality management standards
    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to initiate and maintain relationships with challenging international suppliers and manage frequent interactions with Senior Management and other internal customers
    Ability to challenge individuals at all levels to ensure compliance to business processes and standards
