How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Graduate SEN TA - Didcot

    Pay: £90.00 - £105.00 per day
    Start Date: ASAP

    A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Didcot is looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate SEN TA to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and is considering a future career in education, psychology, speech and language therapy, or mental health support.

    The successful Graduate SEN TA will play an important role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential within a supportive and nurturing school environment.

    Role Overview

    As a Graduate SEN TA, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored support for pupils with a range of special educational needs. You will contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where all pupils can thrive.

    This position is ideal for a Graduate SEN TA who is eager to gain valuable hands-on experience in a primary school setting.

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
    Assist with classroom learning and targeted intervention activities
    Support pupils' communication, social development, and emotional wellbeing
    Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
    Work collaboratively with teachers and external professionals
