How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electro Plater / Anodiser – Surrey – Salary DOE + Benefits – REF 072

    Mon – Fri (Early Finish Friday 12:30pm)

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electro Plater / Anodiser to join a well-established and highly respected surface treatment specialist.

    Our client is recognised for delivering high-quality finishing and surface treatment solutions to the aerospace and advanced manufacturing sectors. With a strong reputation for quality, technical excellence, and customer service, they continue to invest in their people and processes to support ongoing growth.

    As an Electro Plater / Anodiser, you will play a key role in ensuring components are processed to the highest industry standards. Working within a quality-driven manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of plating and anodising processes while maintaining strict compliance with customer specifications and aerospace quality requirements.

    Skills & Experience Needed:

    • Previous experience within an Electro Plating and/or Anodising environment

    • Experience with a range of surface treatment processes, including:

    * Chrome Plating

    * Nickel Plating

    * Cadmium Plating

    * Silver Plating

    * Copper Plating

    * Stainless Steel Passivation

    * Hard Anodising

    * Chromic Anodising

    * Sulphuric Anodising

    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing work to the highest quality standards

    • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
