Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Bristol
Masterclass Education is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work across a variety of primary, secondary, and specialist schools throughout Bristol.
We are looking for enthusiastic and supportive individuals who are passionate about helping children and young people achieve their full potential. Whether you have previous school-based experience or have worked in care, youth work, coaching, mentoring, or support roles, this could be an excellent opportunity to begin or further your career in education.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and school staff to provide tailored support to pupils who may require additional help with their learning, development, or wellbeing.
Depending on the school and role, your responsibilities may include:
* Supporting students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
* Assisting with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
* Encouraging pupil engagement and participation in learning.
* Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
* Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Providing pastoral support and promoting student wellbeing.
* Assisting with behaviour management and classroom organisation.
Who We're Looking For
Successful candidates will:
* Have a positive, patient, and adaptable approach.
* Enjoy working with children and young people.
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
* Demonstrate a commitment to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
* Have experience in education, care, coaching, youth work, mentoring, or similar sectors (desirable but not essential).
