Masterclass Education is recruiting on behalf of a large and welcoming secondary school in Bristol seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team.

The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences and ensuring that students remain engaged with the work that has been set.
Your duties will include:
* Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials across a variety of subjects.
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.
* Ensuring students remain focused and on task throughout lessons.
* Providing support and guidance where appropriate.
* Reporting back to teaching staff regarding lesson outcomes and student engagement.
* Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
This role does not require lesson planning or marking, making it an excellent stepping stone into teaching or education support roles.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with young people, either in education or a related setting.
* Is confident managing groups of students.
* Possesses strong communication and organisational skills.
* Can adapt quickly to different subjects and classroom environments.
* Has a professional, positive, and proactive attitude.
* Is able to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Sports Coach, Youth Worker, Tutor, or Graduate is advantageous but not essential.
