How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the RoleAbout the Role

    Inbound role in a busy sales office in Normanton with an element of returning customer calls.
    Taking responsibility for all inbound calls while supporting two fellow inbound coordinators
    Working in conjunction with 20 other sales team members based in the Wakefield/Rotherham sales office.
    Providing site equipment for some of the largest construction projects in the UK.
    Resolving customer queries.
    Using extensive product knowledge to keep customers informed of our products/services.
    Support colleagues who are working towards completing an apprenticeship. 

    We would welcome applications for this Inbound Coordinator role from candidates with the following skills: sales, administration, sales executive, client support, cross-selling, telephony, inbound, outbound, order processing, IT literate, presentation, Internal Sales Executive, B2B, and construction.

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate for this Inbound Coordinator role:

    Previous experience dealing with customers over the phone and via alternate modes of communication
    Ability to communicate and work well with other team members and delegate in a small team environment
    The confidence to resolve complicated customer queries
    Demonstrable experience in meeting service levels
    Experience in roles involving but not limited to – retention, inbound customer contact & direct sales.
    Excellent organisational skills with a high degree of accuracy when dealing with costings
