Masterclass are currently looking for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work within a welcoming secondary school in the Crawley area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain further classroom experience within education. The school is easily accessible by bus, and it has ample parking.
Role Details
* Location: Crawley
* Position: Cover Supervisor - Mainstream Secondary
* Pay: £110 per day
* 8:30 – 3:30
* September start
Responsibilities
* Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher
* Ensuring students remain on task and engaged with set work
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Providing support to students where required
* Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson progress and behaviour
Requirements
* Previous experience supporting young people
* Previous experience presenting and communicating confidently to groups of people
* Strong communication and classroom management skills
* Confident, adaptable, and professional approach
* A passion for supporting students within education
