About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join our busy moulding and finishing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who enjoys working in a manufacturing environment. Full training will be provided, although previous experience in production, moulding, finishing, or general factory work would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
*
Operating moulding and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
*
Trimming, sanding, polishing, and finishing moulded products to quality standards.
*
Inspecting products for defects and ensuring quality requirements are met.
*
Preparing materials and components for production.
*
Packing finished products ready for dispatch.
*
Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
*
Following health and safety procedures at all times.
*
Assisting with general production duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
*
Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or factory environment is desirable but not essential.
*
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
*
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills.
*
Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling tasks.
*
Positive attitude with a flexible approach to work.
*
