How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Air Conditioning Installer / Service Engineer

    Location: Kent, South East England & London (with occasional nationwide travel)
    Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
    Start Date: Immediate Start Available

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Air Conditioning Installer / Service Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of a wide range of air conditioning systems across commercial, industrial, and domestic sites.

    The majority of work will be based throughout Kent, London, and the South East, although occasional nationwide travel may be required depending on project requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Installation of split, multi-split, VRV/VRF, and other air conditioning systems.

    * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive service visits.

    * Diagnose and repair faults efficiently and effectively.

    * Complete all relevant job sheets, service reports, and documentation accurately.

    * Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with industry standards and company procedures.

    * Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach while representing the company on-site.

    * Participate in occasional out-of-area projects when required.

    Requirements

    Essential:

    * Proven experience in air conditioning installation and servicing.

    * Valid CSCS Card.

    * F-Gas Certification.

    * Full UK Driving Licence.

    * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

    * Good communication and customer service skills.

    * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    * Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.

    Desirable:

    * Relevant HVAC qualifications.

    * IPAF and/or PASMA certification.

    * Experience working within commercial environments.

    DBS Requirement

    A DBS check is required for this role due to the nature of some client sites. This will be arranged internally by the company.
