With one of the strongest order books in its history and a reputation for delivering high-quality projects, the business is now seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major residential development in Stonehaven.

The successful candidate will take ownership of a substantial housing development, overseeing all aspects of the project from site commencement through to successful completion.

The Role

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and successful delivery of the development, ensuring programme, quality, commercial and health & safety objectives are achieved.

Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients, you will drive project performance and ensure the highest standards are maintained throughout.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing the day-to-day delivery of a large residential development

* Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors throughout the construction programme

* Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget

* Monitoring programme performance and managing key milestones

* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders

* Managing quality standards and ensuring compliance with project specifications

* Identifying and mitigating project risks

* Producing regular progress reports for senior management

* Driving a positive culture focused on safety, quality and operational excellence

About You

We are keen to speak with experienced Project Managers who have a proven track record of delivering residential construction projects within a main contracting environment.

The ideal candidate will possess:

* Previous experience managing residential developments from inception to completion

* Strong leadership and team management skills

* Excellent planning and organisational abilities

* A sound understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery

* Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

* A proactive and solutions-focused approach

* SMSTS, CSCS and other relevant industry qualifications

Experience delivering large-scale housing developments or mixed-use residential projects would be highly advantageous.
